Natural boundary Turgen in the vicinities of Almaty is the most beautiful place of the protogenic nature at the bottom of the ridges Zaili Ala Tau. It is well-known by the picturesque falls, crystal water of the mountain rivers and small lakes. The second item of this route become Kolsai Lakes located at height of 1000, 2250 and 2700 meters above the sea level. Surrounded by rocks and deciduous woods, mountain gorges and the Alpine meadows, these lakes fascinates by their virgin beauty. 

The landing in Charyn canyon will give you a unique opportunity to admire the creation of the Mother-Nature. The nature has presented us unique forms of fantastic Charyn "castles" created by water, wind erosion and time. Tourists can tickle their nerves racing on catamarans downhill Charyn or by the attraction "Tarzan". In the evenings it is possible to have a rest in a Scythian bath on coast of the river. Among nearby natural sights there is a cemetery of the hardened trees, the Snake valley and a relic ashen grove. 

Your second landing will already be near a singing sun dune. In opinion of many people, this is the most mystical place in Almaty area. Nobody knows, how this sandy colossus appeared on a joint of mountain formations of Big Kalkan and to whom it sings the songs. It is located on the right bank of the largest river of Semirechye (Seven Rivers region) Ili and is the unique sight of Altyn-Emel national park. Strolling on a ridge of the sun dune, it is possible to hear its singing. Sand under feet starts to slide and hoot producing the sounds of a landing plane, a siren of a river buoy.
